Novapolis Association – Center for Analysis and Initiatives for Development, together and as a member of EAPN Romania – National Network of Anti-Poverty and Social Inclusion (RENASIS) held Wednesday, 20th of January, 2016, the National Meeting of relevant Stakeholders for the FEAD / POAD program (The European Aid to the most Deprived / Operational Program Helping Most Disadvantaged Persons).
The event was hosted by the European Public Space, Bucharest and occasioned discussions and debates regarding the implementation of FEAD / POAD and cooperation at European level, the target groups for the program in Romania, accompanying measures, technical and operational aspects of POAD in Romania, and the FEAD European Conference and the developing of the online Platform at the European Union level for the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived.
The event was attended by representatives of public and private sectors, experts and specialists active in the field – institutions, partner organizations and beneficiaries of the program which has brought an important added value and facilitated the sharing of experiences and activities developed in Romania under the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived.
This National consulative meeting of the relevant stakeholders for FEAD / POAD in Romania aimed to collect useful and relevant information for the development of the FEAD European Network and online Platform. The FEAD EU Platform and European Network is carried out by the European Commission with the support ECORYS which in turn cooperates with the European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN) to organize the national consultation meetings in 9 Member States, including Romania.
