Under the multipurpose vouchers component of the project, financial support measures were implemented between 2022 and 2026 to contribute to the socio-economic inclusion of vulnerable refugees and third-country nationals in Constanța County and the South-East region of Romania.
These vouchers were provided alongside complementary services such as training, capacity building, Romanian language courses, and labour market and entrepreneurship support, with the aim of improving access to essential needs and strengthening participation in social and economic life.
During the implementation period, 500 particularly vulnerable beneficiaries received multipurpose social vouchers in 2022–2023, followed by 600 beneficiaries in 2024, and 200 beneficiaries in 2025–2026. Each voucher had a value of 100 EUR.
The eligibility criteria were established in the project methodology, prioritising especially persons with disabilities, elderly individuals, single women with children, persons with special needs, and individuals with medical conditions.
Through this targeted financial assistance, Novapolis Association contributed to reducing vulnerability, improving basic living conditions, and supporting the broader integration process of refugees and third-country nationals in the region.
