Novapolis Association – Center for Analysis and Initiatives for Development organized the event “Local Training Storytelling Romania” on Friday, April 25, 2025. Held in Constanța, as part of the SAFE – Social Awareness for (War) Experience project, under the ERASMUS+ program, contract no. 2024-1-DE04-KA220-YOU-000243072, the local training session brought together youth workers who had the opportunity to develop their skills in creating and facilitating storytelling rooms and to enhance their competencies in gathering stories and experiences of young Ukrainian refugees.
On this occasion, participants learned what it means to design a space—physical or virtual—that encourages creativity, engagement, and the art of sharing life stories. They also received valuable insights into creating a welcoming atmosphere, equipping the rooms, setting up essential rules, implementing exercises and working tools, and many other relevant details.
