The day of 30 June 2026 brought a new round of dialogue, collaboration, and learning within the DCYDE! – Digital Global Citizenship for Youngsters & Educators project, in a space dedicated to the development of digital and civic competences.
Education professionals, institutional representatives, and community members addressed important topics related to global citizenship and discussed several essential themes for contemporary education:
- Global Citizenship Education (GCE) – principles, approaches, and applicability in local contexts
- Varied educational methods – practical tools for dynamic and inclusive activities
- Digital GCE projects – planning, implementation, and evaluation of impactful initiatives
- The Collaboratorum online collaborative platform – exploring a shared digital space for resources, dialogue, and cooperation
- Youth empowerment – awareness, reflection, and good practices
The atmosphere of the day was marked by authentic exchanges of ideas, practical exercises, and discussions that highlighted the crucial role of educators and communities in promoting inclusion and civic responsibility.
Participants generated proposals, tested digital tools, and explored ways in which global education can be integrated into their daily activities, contributing to the development of innovative approaches adapted to current needs.
The event on 30 June strengthened the commitment to a modern, equitable, and digitally connected education aligned with today’s realities, representing an important step in expanding and reinforcing the DCYDE! network in Romania.
