As part of the advocacy component of the ConstantaAID4Ukrainians: Help for Ukrainian Refugees and TCNs in Constanța and the South-East Region project, a series of annual advocacy conferences were implemented throughout the 2022–2026 period in Constanța, bringing together key stakeholders from public institutions, local and national authorities, NGOs, international organizations, media, and civil society.
These events provided a structured platform for dialogue, coordination, and the presentation of project results, with a focus on improving responses to refugee needs, strengthening protection systems, and promoting inclusive approaches to migration and integration at local and regional level.
Across the entire period, the advocacy conferences gathered almost 200 participants in total, ensuring consistent multi-stakeholder engagement each year.
Through these annual events, the project contributed to reinforcing cooperation between relevant actors, enhancing visibility of key protection and integration challenges, and supporting a more coordinated and evidence-based response to the situation of Ukrainian refugees and third-country nationals in Constanța and the South-East region of Romania.
