PRESS RELEASE
Launch of the WebDoc digital tool – Snapshots from the Borders
Novapolis Association – Center of Analysis and Initiatives for Development and Municipality of Constanta announce the public launching of the WebDoc digital tool developed within the framework of the project Snapshots from the Borders – Small towns facing the global challenges of Agenda 2030, co-funded by the European Union through the DEAR program.
This digital tool was created to make known and tell the story of “Snapshots from the Borders”, a project that lasted for 4 years and involved territories and partners from across Europe. The WebDoc is a complex digital tool in English and Italian, structured on 3 areas-Lexicon, Timeline & Map- to highlight a new narrative on migration and to present in an interactive manner the activities and results achieved through the project.
The WebDoc explains some of the most used terms as regards management of migratory flows and encompasses the most significant events and moments in the project. The map is also intended to present each region individually, with its migration stories and the national message of the campaign „No more bricks in the Wall”.
We reiterate the message from the Ambassador from Romania sent by the lead singer of the music band „Directia 5”, Cristi Enache that “Frontiers are often imaginary”, a message promoted by the campaign of the Snapshots from the Borders project and invite you to discover the WebDoc with information regarding the activities implemented in Constanta and all the territories involved:
